Admission Procedures
We are delighted that you are considering St. Peter's School for your child's education. St. Peter's is its own Admissions Authority which means that the governors are responsible for the allocation of places, although Walsall Children's Services do undertake some of the administration side of the the process on our behalf.
Further information regarding admissions to the school is available below. Should you require any further assistance, please contact the school office on 01922 710872.
Nursery Admissions
If you would like your child to be considered for a place in our Nursery, please contact the school office for an application form alternatively you can download one from the link below. You will then need to return it along with your child's birth certificate and baptismal certificate, if they have been baptised Catholic. This will complete the application process.
In the Spring Term prior to the academic year that your child would be eligible to start Nursery we will then write to offer places. If your application is successful, children are allocated either a morning or afternoon Nursery place to begin the term following their third birthday.
Reception Admissions
Within Walsall, children are admitted to a Reception class on a full time basis from the September following their fourth birthday. Applications must be made online to Walsall Children's Services. When making your application, please ensure that you complete a Supplementary Information Form and return this directly to us at school - download a copy of form below. You can also obtain one from Walsall Children Services. Please note that if your child is baptised Catholic, you must attach a copy of their baptismal certificate in order for the correct priority to be given to your application.
Mid-Year Admissions
If you wish to apply for your child to join St. Peter's at any time other than at the normal Reception admissions round, you will need to contact Walsall Admissions via their website.
